Who have ever thought Tamagokake-Gohan is weird?

I grew up with raw eggs from when I was a child. And I had never thought it is weird, because I had never had stomachache after eating them, and I eat them quite often.

However, after I came to Finland, I really feel that eating Namatamago (Raw Eggs) is not a common things in many western countries.

Today, when I was about to eat Udon, the Japanese noodle, with a raw egg and

soup, one of my flatmate asked me.

"Do you usually eat like this?"

It was quite interesting question for me.I didn't understand what she means at first, because it is too common to eat raw eggs for me. Of course I knew that it is not common to eat raw eggs in their daily life in some countries. But I had never felt, or experienced the difference.

In my opinion, the combination of raw eggs and soy source or Dashi (in this case it was Mentsuyu) is very nice, but at the same time,I noticed that it might be normal only in my brain.

For me, to know different culture or way of thinking is very interesting and I don't feel stress much even I am in the different situation.

Today, I just felt that I should not think that everything of mine is normal for other people, I can't push my opinion or perspective to other people.

But anyway, Udon with raw egg was awesome.
